EZ-Glide Pit Safety Cover

Part Number EG38

Avoid dangerous pitfalls and protect your employees and customers from serious injury with EZ-Glide Pit Safety Covers. Uncovered lube service pits are an accident waiting to happen & may be in violation of OSHA requirements.

Designed to provide user-friendly open pit protection, the EZ-Glide Safety Cover system will keep your service bays safe & OSHA compliant. The patented sliding panel design allows fast, easy access to vehicles all along the lube pit area. Just grab one of the pit cover panels & slide it forward or backward to obtain access above. The low profile, self-stacking design eliminates the need for heavy lifting or dragging covers from front to rear in order to gain the desired opening above.

Steel frame construction with compound glides support up to 2500 lbs. We have received several reports of vehicles accidentally driving on & off EZ-Glide covered pits without incident. If an employee or customer happens to step upon your EZ-Glide cover system they will not stumble or fall as the rigid steel panels don’t flex or roll away like other designs. Standard safety yellow powder coat finish provides high visibility & years of trouble free service. In addition, EZ-Glide covers have no moving parts to wear-out & will not expand when wet or shrink when cold.

Each EZ-Glide Pit Cover is custom manufactured to your open pit specifications. This insures proper fit & optimum performance for each pit safety cover system installed.

Easy to install, EZ-Glide Systems require only a ledge or track for the steel panels to set upon. Available accessories include heavy steel fabricated single or double Pit Tracking as well as all steel Tire Guide Leaders (see accessories).
